Emergency guidance

Your safety comes first. Follow these steps for urgent situations.

  • For any life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately.
  • For a gas smell, leave the building right away, then call your gas utility and 911.
  • For active flooding, shut off the water source if you can do so safely.
  • For fire, evacuate and call 911 before contacting WAPM.
  • For urgent property emergencies (no heat in dangerous cold, major leaks), call WAPM at 715-301-3255.
